You surely have tried or used baking soda before in various ways, either in the house, as a beauty product or as a remedy.
It has potent medicinal properties which can be of great help in the treatment of various health issues.
It is even better than commercial household cleaners, it can be used instead of various cosmetics, and even as a natural deodorizer with amphoteric properties, as it can act as both an acid and a base. Moreover, it is a completely non-toxic agent.
Here is how to use it in various ways you probably haven’t heard of:
1.Treat heartburn
Add some baking soda in half a glass of water and relieve heartburn.
2. Facial scrub
Mix 3 parts of baking soda and 1 part of water to create a paste which will work as a great facial scrub.
3. Remove body odor
You can use baking soda as an underarm deodorant to eliminate body odor.
4. Freshen your mouth
Add a teaspoon of baking soda in half a glass of water, and swish this solution to freshen the mouth, spit it out, and rinse once more with water.
5. Soothe your feet
Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda to a warm bath and soak the feet in it for 20 minutes, and then scrub them gently.
6. Longer lasting flowers
Add a teaspoon of baking soda in the vase of your flowers to keep them longer.
7. Sweeten tomatoes
Just sprinkle some baking soda in the soil around the tomatoes and that will sweeten their taste.
8. Remove insecticides
You should add a quarter cup of baking soda in the sink and wash the fresh vegetables or fruits in it to eliminate insecticides.
9. Make a fluffy omelet
To make the omelet fluffier, you should add half a teaspoon of baking soda to each 3 eggs.

20. Clean the sponges
Add 4 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of warm water and soak the smelly sponges in it to disinfect them and neutralize the smell.
