Some doctors believe that when experiencing pain, fibromyalgia is the best thing a patient can have. This sure creates some sort of confusion, because fibromyalgia is considered to be an incurable condition. But, that is not true. Despite what most doctors believe, there is a cure for fibromyalgia, of course, when the root cause is properly treated.
Curing a disease means treating its underlying cause. Unfortunately, modern medical system focuses on treating symptoms, oftentimes with dangerous, chemical-laden medications.
For instance, when treating fibromyalgia, doctors commonly prescribe Lyrica, a drug that treats nerve pain. Moreover, the TV ad paid by the manufacturer suggests that the fibromyalgia induced pain occurs as a result of the overstimulation of the nerve endings.
This pain is not an inflammatory condition or an autoimmune disease. Surprisingly, it is caused by lactic acid buildups in muscle tissue and tendon sheaths. It is the very same “muscle burn,” a term used by athletes who work out. To be more precise, treating fibromyalgia means preventing the lactic acid from building up, which is easily performed by treating the root causes of this condition.
There is no single and simple cause of fibromyalgia, but all causes have something in common. For instance, persistent muscle tension is the only situation in which lactic acid builds up. Many other factors lead to muscle tension, but we will stick to anger internalization.
Anger is a dangerously potent emotion. When people do not release it, it ends up internalized and triggers a situation in which persistent muscle tension is created, which eventually creates lactic acid buildups.
This is the question we asked: “Where does this anger come from?”
There are two major sources of anger: extremely stressful relationships, including living with an abusive spouse, or caring for a family member that oftentimes requires putting your own life on hold until the particular person passes on. The second source of anger is more common, and even though it is not recognized as a source of anger, it sure is a lot easier to address. Now we have reached the most common root cause of fibromyalgia – excess adrenaline.
As considered by the majority, adrenaline is the fight-or-flight hormone. It is extremely potent and sure able to create intense anger like the “road rage.” (We will discuss the relationship between adrenalin and fibromyalgia later, but remember, this hormone is considered to be the root cause of many other health conditions that are also believed to be incurable.)
As we already said, fibromyalgia induced pain is triggered by lactic acid buildups from persistent muscle tension. This may be caused by anger that occurs as a result of relationships or from excess adrenaline.
Muscle tension compresses small venules which transport lactic acid out of the muscles. At the same point, lymphatic vessels are also compressed by muscle tension. These also carry lactic acid from the muscles. This is when lactic acid keeps building up, without being able to be drained.
Persistent muscle tension causes constant fatigue, which is another symptom of fibromyalgia. Muscle tension is associated with other symptoms like temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), known to cause jaw pain and dysfunction, teeth grinding, restless leg syndrome (RLS), known as unpleasant sensation in legs and an uncontrollable need to move them, and occipital neuritis, or a headache that is oftentimes confused with migraines, because of the severe pain that affects the area from the base of the skull to the back of the eyes.
If you accept the fact that excess adrenaline is the root cause of a great number of cases of fibromyalgia, then you understand that by reducing the adrenaline you can cure this condition.
Moreover, avoid stress caused by other people, because this can cure fibromyalgia triggered by bad life situations. Many people can confirm this. It may seem impossible to get rid of an abusive spouse, arrange caretakers for a close family member or even separating from a pet, but such changes guarantee great health benefits.
If you need your adrenaline level lowered, first you have to understand why is this hormone overproduced in your body. The body was believed to produce excess adrenaline in cases of danger. This made people either face their danger or run away from their biggest fear.
That is the fight-or-flight response. These physical responses lasted for several minutes, as soon the dangerous situation passed, and at that point the adrenaline had returned to its normal level. But, today, some people release adrenalin constantly without being exposed to danger. What causes such condition?
Here is some background information. First, you have to understand that human brain uses more sugar than any other part in the body. When brain stays out of sugar, it falls asleep. This is known as hypoglycemia. People feel sleepy between 3 and 4 pm, which is when insulin peaks.
When insulin level increases, blood sugar level decreases. Certain people are hypoglycemic after their meals, because food releases insulin, and some foods are more powerful in doing this than others. Some people feel sleepy in a car, and it can happen to both drivers and passengers.
This is because human brain uses a lot of fuel when you are travelling in a car. Speaking from a survival standpoint, human body always tends to make sure that the brain gets enough fuel.
So, every time your brain has low amount of sugar, the body releases more adrenaline to increase its sugar level. This process is called gluconeogenesis. It is mediated by the sympathetic nervous system and it allows the transformation of protein into sugar.
We have reached the point when you can understand how fibromyalgia can be treated by giving the brain its fuel in order to prevent the release of adrenaline. If by any chance you did not know it, adrenaline levels significantly reduce within 24 hours. This relaxes muscles and improves circulation, which in turn aids in removing excess lactic acid.
The best sugar you can give to your brain is contained in leafy greens. But, the best fuel for the body comes in form of oils that create ketone bodies in human brain. These include coconut or palm oil. Make sure you get more of these oils in your diet and you will soon notice how the symptoms triggered by excess adrenalin reduce rapidly.
Adrenaline can be also reduced by bio-identical progesterone cream with a strength of 5 percent (50 mg) per pump. This amount is enough to block adrenaline and control insulin levels. Moreover, ancillary acids also help in treating symptoms of fibromyalgia.
These include d-ribose, magnesium, coenzyme Q10, and high doses of vitamin D3 (10,000 to 15,000 IU per day), accompanied with vitamin K2 (MK-7).
In other words, these methods help in relieving and curing fibromyalgia in three days to three weeks.
