PREVENTION is better than Cure!.....IFA Conference

PREVENTION is better than cure and could save the NHS both lives and money according to a number of eminent speakers at an exciting upcoming healthcare conference.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) are holding a Preventative Healthcare Conference where accomplished speakers will be discussing vital topics ranging from MRSA to integrated healthcare.

The IFA is an international charity and a professional body for clinical aromatherapy, having 100 schools in 17 countries around the world; the IFA being the first professional body for clinical aromatherapy, registered in 1985.
The two-day conference takes place on 24 and 25 June 2017 at West London University and is open to members and non-members alike.
Colleen O Flaherty-Hilder, Chair of the IFA, said: “We have earned an international reputation for maintaining high educational and professional conduct standards and our conferences are aimed at bringing together lead specialists in their field to provide our members, and those interested in complementary health, with the latest in international research.

“The theme of our conference, Preventative Healthcare, was chosen because medical science is looking more and more towards preventive healthcare measures for answers in the face of the ever-increasing cost of health, together with the challenges some pharmaceuticals present. The field of complementary medicine has a wealth of experience to contribute to this field of healthcare, a subject that is becoming increasingly relevant and prominent in the field of health management.”
It’s an exciting time for the IFA as they continue to grow and adapt, remaining motivated and responsive to the needs of our members. Our organisation is confronting a time of many changes and we’re meeting these changes during a time of larger nation-wide and global change.
Speakers at the event include an international panel of pioneers, specialist, and authors within their field; Salvatore Battaglia (Australia), Maggie Tisserand (UK), Dr Peter Fisher (UK), Natsuki Ohta (Japan), Joe Hoare (UK) and Bradley Whale (UK).
