Nothing is easier than getting a bottle of drinking water on our way to work and drinking it slowly. However, the chemicals contained in the bottled water, even the tap water, can cause severe health issues.
Alkaline water is known for its beneficial properties and ability to provide hydration and other health perks. Some of them include:
  1. Antioxidant characteristics: Alkaline water contains antioxidant properties that can act against free radicals that may result in early aging process and other complications. One of the most beneficial effects that alkaline water provides is fighting against cancer.
  2. Cleansing properties: Organ cleansing and disinfection can be accomplished by drinking alkaline water; that is especially true about the colon. If the colon gets attacked by toxins, they become toxic to the body and alkaline water clears all toxins from the body. By preserving the colon health and toxins-free, one lowers the odds of suffering from stomach bacteria and viruses, flu’s, colds, and other common sicknesses.
  3. Physical appearance: alkaline water regenerates the skin and hydrates it. As a result of drinking alkaline water, the skin preserves its elasticity and revitalizes easily. Losing weight is another contribution of drinking alkaline water because alkaline enables the body to break down fatty acids from it.
Despite being incredibly advantageous, alkaline water is pretty expensive. That is why, other than buying alkaline water, you can produce it yourself. Follow this recipe to make your alkaline water.
