These Gummy Bears Are Practically A Superfood

Gear up for a bold statement, because here it comes: Gummy candy is the future of food. Stop shouting at your computer, and hear me out. Two geniuses just figured out how to turn the candy into a health supplement — and, excuse the turn of phrase, but I literally can't even.
Matcha Bears, which is halfway to its goal of raising $15,000 on Kickstarter, are (you guessed it) matcha-flavored gummy bears. But they don't just taste like tea; they pack the benefits of glass-like antioxidants and a boost in focus and endurance — ten times over. That's not an exaggeration: Two Matcha Bears contain the same amount of antioxidants as a cup of matcha powder or 10 cups of the tea.
The bears were a clap back to all the edible forms of matcha that are super unhealthy. All those muffins and cookies that are spiked with the green stuff also pack a ton of sugar. Two gummies (the recommended daily serving) only have a total of 4.4 grams of sugar. Matcha purists can rest easy knowing this isn't some gimmick that won't follow through. The bears are made with 100% ceremonial-grade imperial matcha, and they're pretty much allergen-free. There's no gluten, nuts, milk, or soy on the ingredient list.
I mean, really. What will they think of next?
